Photograph Orders
Mon 21 Nov 2022Photograph proofs have been sent home with your child. All orders are required by 9.00a.m. on Tuesday 29th November, 202 to enable photographs to be returned in time for the Christmas holiday.

Head Teacher Appointment
Thu 14 Jul 2022I wanted to write to you once more before the end of term. It is with sadness that we are preparing to say goodbye to Mrs. Kitaratzis after her hard work and dedication to our school. It really will not be the same without her. We do wish her a very happy and restful retirement and thank her again for all she has done.
I am delighted to be able to tell you that following interviews this week that Mr. Derek Higgins has been appointed permanent Head Teacher of Woodcock Hill Primary School. He will take up his appointment officially on September 1st at the start of next term. This will replace the information I gave you concerning the shared responsibility of Head Teacher position in the last newsletter.
I am sure you will join me in congratulating Mr. Higgins and we look forward to working with him next term.

Secondary School (Year 7|) September 2023
Wed 13 Jul 2022Parent/guardians who have a child in Year 5 need to make an application for their child to start Year 7 at Secondary School in September 2023 by no later than Monday 31st October 2022. The quickest and easiest way to make an application is online at www.birmingham.gov.uk/schooladmissions or by contacting a member of the School Admissions and Pupil Placements Service on 0121 303 1888. The application line opens on 1st September 2022.

Ofsted Visit
Tue 03 May 2022As you will know two Ofsted Inspectors visited Woodcock Hill on Wednesday 27th April and Thursday 28th April. We will know the outcome of the Ofsted visit once the report arrives which will take approximately four weeks. We will distribute the report to all parents/guardians as soon as we can.
We thank you for your patience but also for your continued support, it is very much appreciated. -
Sustrans and Unicef Ukraine Appeal
Tue 05 Apr 2022Thank you to all parents/guardians who supported our non-uniform day fund raiser for the Sustrans and Unicef Ukraine Appeal. Mr. Hines (Sports Coach) also arranged a penalty shoot out against 'Cheeky The Chimp'. A fantastic total of £182.00 was raised which will be sent to the appeal fund.

Red Nose Day 2022
Tue 22 Mar 2022This year for Red Nose Day we raised a fabulous total of £84.30. Pupils enjoyed dressing in something red for the day. Thank you for all donations which have been sent off to the appeal. Your support is greatly appreciated.

BRING IT ON BRUM! - Easter Holiday Activities Club

Bring It On Brum! are excited to let you know that the popular holiday activities and food programme, Bring it on Brum! is back for the Easter holidays and is completely free of charge for children eligible for free schools meals! Visit www.bringitonbrum.co.uk now to book your free place for your child(ren) so they can take part in a local club and enjoy their brilliant mix of fun action-packed days and tasty food.
Bring it on Brum! holiday clubs are running across the city from Monday 11th-Friday 22nd April 2022.
Clubs will run on average for 4 hours a day and each day your child will enjoy a fun-packed programme filled with a wide range of sports and games, arts and crafts, cookery, dance and music. Programmes will vary depending on the type and location of each local club, but every day there will be a delicious nutritious meal served up for free!
