• Head Teacher Appointment

  I wanted to write to you once more before the end of term. It is with sadness that we are preparing to say goodbye to Mrs. Kitaratzis after her hard work and dedication to our school. It really will not be the same without her. We do wish her a very happy and restful retirement and thank her again for all she has done.

  I am delighted to be able to tell you that following interviews this week that Mr. Derek Higgins has been appointed permanent Head Teacher of Woodcock Hill Primary School. He will take up his appointment officially on September 1^st at the start of next term. This will replace the information I gave you concerning the shared responsibility of Head Teacher position in the last newsletter.

  I am sure you will join me in congratulating Mr. Higgins and we look forward to working with him next term.

• Secondary School (Year 7|) September 2023

  Parent/guardians who have a child in Year 5 need to make an application for their child to start Year 7 at Secondary School in September 2023 by no later than Monday 31st October 2022. The quickest and easiest way to make an application is online at  www.birmingham.gov.uk/schooladmissions or by contacting a member of the School Admissions and Pupil Placements Service on 0121 303 1888. The application line opens on 1st September 2022.
