COVID-19 - List of Key Workers
Fri 20 Mar 2020A list of the Government identified "Key Workers" is given below:
Health & Social Care Staff
Includes nurses, doctors, healthcare assistants & setting support staff
Education & Childcare Staff
Includes nursery staff, teachers. social workers & setting support staff
Key Public Services
Includes justice system, religious staff & those responsible for managing the deceased
Local & National Government
Only staff involved directly with the COVID-19 response
Food & Other Necessary Goods
Those involved in the production, processing & safe distribution of food
Public Safety & National Security
Includes police, fire, rescue, prison, probation & MoD Staff
Transport
Includes those that will "keep air, water, rail passenger & freight running during the COVID-19 response"
Utilities, Communication & Financial Services
Includes staff that will keep oil, gas, electricity & water operations running along with nuclear, chemical & telecommunications staff

COVID19 - Coronavirus Update
Mon 16 Mar 2020COVID19 Information:
As per Government advice there are currently no plans to close schools. Children should attend school as normal unless they show new cough-like symptoms or develop a high temperature, in which case it is advised they stay home for at least seven days.
We thank you for your co-operation and will advise you when and if the Government's advice changes.

COVID-19 - Latest Government Information
Fri 13 Mar 2020Please be assured that Woodcock Hill Primary School are continuing to follow that latest Government guidelines on dealing with COVID-19. We are checking the advice from both the Government and Local Authority daily and we have posted a link to the advice for schools and educational establishments on the Parents / Useful Links page of our website.
Please continue to encourage your children to wash their hands regularly and If you have any concerns please call NHS direct on 111.
