Secondary School (Year 7) September 2022
Thu 15 Jul 2021Parents/guardians who have a child in Year 5 need to make an application for their child to start Year 7 at Secondary School in September 2022 by no later than Sunday 31st October 2021. The quickest and easiest way to make an application is online at www.birmingham.gov.uk/schooladmissions or by contacting a member of the School Admissions and Pupil Placements Service on 0121 303 1888. The application line opens on 1st September 2021.

For those eligible for benefit related Free School Meals, you will shortly receive your cheque number and code to claim a supermarket voucher. Vouchers will be issued for £60 per child. This is for the entire Summer holiday period. Voucher codes are valid until 30th September 2021. Please ensure you use your code before this date.

To support children after a challenging year, The Maths Factor is releasing a FREE new Summer course: Summer Adventure.
Led by Carol Vorderman, this 6-week course is completely FREE and matched to each child’s learning stage, ideal for boosting confidence and avoiding the summer dip!- For ages 4 to 11 years old.
- 1 x 20-minute session per day, 5 days a week.
- Content tailored to their year group and confidence level.
- Virtual rewards can be earned as they progress.
- Proven methodology with tutorials, warm-up questions and lots of practice.

Grammar School Entry - Year 7, September, 2022
Wed 12 May 2021Parents/Guardians of Year 5 pupils can now register their child for the optional entrance test by applying online before 4.00p.m. on 30th June 2021.
The test will take place on 11th September 2021.

Birmingham Holiday Activities Programme - Easter Holiday Provision 2021
We are pleased to outline details of the virtual Easter holidays activities 2021. School aged children are invited to join the Birmingham Holiday Activities Programme.
The programme will be delivered virtually through a web-portal which will host a range of activities for your child/children to take part in online or at home.
The programme will include live streams of activity and play sessions, sports coaching sessions, downloadable resources and activity cards, arts and craft activities, food and nutrition advice, cook at home ideas and recipes, along with activities focusing on wellbeing, physical activity and nutrition.
To access this web-portal, you simply need to visit www.BHAP.co.uk at the start of the Easter holidays.
You will be asked to enter a code which is: BHAP21
This will help us track the numbers of children and young people accessing activities via the portal.
You will also have the option to sign up to the Birmingham Holiday Activities Programme distribution network where we will be able to share information with you about what is being planned for the summer.
